You may be wondering about sewing classes at Esther’s Fabrics. At this writing Barbara Kirk, the wonderful owner of Esther’s, has no immediate plans to replace my weekly after school classes, however we have discussed the possibility of me offering the occasional Saturday workshop. If you would be interested in a 2 or 3 hour, project-specific sewing workshop, email me, and I will contact you when we set something up. I plan to continue to teach sewing privately and pursue other teaching opportunities in Seattle.
I feel so fortunate to have been able to work for the past 15 years in such a wonderfully encouraging and creative community. I appreciate the professional support and sponsorship that I received from Barbara Kirk at Esther’s Fabrics and Sue Hylen at the park district. And, I am truly thankful for all of the wonderful, creative students that I have had the pleasure to teach and learn from over the years!
Everything has happened so quickly – I am sorry that I can’t say a personal goodbye to each of you. Email me, call me, or text me if you have any questions or just want to say “hi.”
